The winner may have been announced two weeks ago, but that didn't stop one American Idol from making a dream come true for a local student.
Devyn Snyder received a visit from former Idol contestant Constantine Maroulis (muh-ROWL-lis), courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Devyn is a fifth grader at Conrad Weiser Middle School and recently had a kidney transplant. Constantine performed
Four songs and later praised the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I think it's amazing what they're doing for young people everywhere and I'm just glad to be a part of it.
School faculty planned a big school picnic to keep the exciting news a secret from the students.
I'm so happy for Devyn and thankful for the Make A Wish Foundation and Constantine for making this little girl's dreams come true!!!
